This display stand is designed specifically for the TOMY 1/350 USS ENTERPRISE. The display enhances the models aesthetic and creates a more in-universe look to your display and replaces the ugly and poorly designed factory base.
This stand, designed by a professional museum exhibit designer, can be positioned with the right or left side as the viewing side. The information plaque has a placement on either side and the Starfleet Delta can be turned to face any direction you see fit!
The stand features museum grade acrylic in striking black and red, indicative of the original Star Trek series color design and aesthetic. The surface is engraved with a beautiful star chart. Stand also includes an in-universe style information plaque with engraved gold lettering and gloss finish throughout. The clear acrylic saddle that the Tomy model rests on is specifically designed to hold the model secure and stable, in fact it has better lateral support than the factory base. I have also designed the stand to tilt the model about 3 degrees nose up, which shifts the center of gravity further back, making the dish support not required and the overall balance of the heavy model far more stable. However, for those who still insist on supporting the saucer section the base comes with a clear acrylic support column that you can place on the stand if you wish.
You are purchasing a display base and information plaque. This sale does NOT included the Enterprise Model. The model is there for demonstration purposes only. I feel like I really shouldn't have to say this, but it needs to be made clear.
The stand measures 20" x 7.5" and is made of very sturdy acrylic, hand finished and assembled by me alone. I am a one man operation and I design and build every single thing I make. These are made to order and a quite labor intensive to make so please allow time for it to arrive. Everything is made here in my home workshop. I do not outsource any labor or parts.
